Rebecca Bolt
Home Manager
My name is Rebecca Bolt, and I am delighted to introduce myself as the Home Manager of Eversleigh Nursing Home.
After experiencing nursing care in various support roles, I decided to commence a career as a qualified nurse. I completed my BSc in Adult Nursing in 2014. Since then, I have worked in a variety of nursing roles before focussing on elderly care. I have worked in several different care homes gaining much experience along the way. I have a passion for clinical excellence, and I am currently completing my Tissue Viability Specialist Certificate.
I am honoured to be appointed as the new home manager by Central England Healthcare. I have ongoing support from the company’s senior team so I am confident I can fulfil my role to an excellent standard. I am a very friendly and enthusiastic manager who always wants to do the best by all our residents, their families, and our dedicated staff. I am a very hands-on manager and like to closely monitor standards of care and receive feedback from our residents and families. I have an open-door policy and families can arrange to meet me anytime. I also work as a nurse on the floor one day each week so that I have closer oversight of the residents needs and their care delivery.
Thank you,
Becky Bolt – Home Manager

Care Team
We have a team of highly qualified, experienced and compassionate nursing staff, care team leaders, and care assistants. Our staff are chosen for their caring attitudes and compassion and they go the ‘extra mile’ for their residents. Residents’ and relatives’ feedback repeatedly praise staff for their passion and commitment to their residents. All care staff are required to complete the Care Certificate as a minimum standard. The Care Certificate is an agreed set of a minimum of 15 standards that sets out the knowledge, skills and behaviours expected of the role of a Carer.
The care team is highly trained and qualified to provide end of life care. The Home is very proud to have been accredited with the National Gold Standards Framework which is a national training standard for delivering end of life care. The National Gold Standards Framework accreditation is reviewed every 3 years. Eversleigh has held the accreditation for 10 years with Commend Status.
Hospitality Services
We have a team of 4 staff in the catering department led by the Head Chef. The Head Housekeeper manages a team of housekeepers and laundry staff. We have a full-time Maintenance Manager. All staff ensure high standards of service are provided to our residents at all times. We have a full-time activities coordinator who organises activities in line with the requirements of the residents.

Supervision
Staff are regularly supervised on duty and we provide good staffing levels to ensure our high standards of care are maintained. Each member of staff has a regular formal meeting with a manager to review their performance and to consider any ideas they have. All staff receive an annual appraisal with the Home Manager. The home has been accredited with Investors in People status which is a national standard measuring the quality of supervision and management of staff. The Investors in People accreditation is reviewed every three years to ensure the home is compliant with the IIP Standard.
Training
We provide regular training to maintain and improve standards, and to ensure staff skills and knowledge are kept up-to-date. New staff complete a comprehensive induction course. The majority of the training is delivered by our Training Manager and external training is provided where needed. The nurses attend regular clinical updates.
